From Lily Flo to Lucen

A Quiet Evolution

For nearly a decade, I created Lily Flo Jewellery — exploring fine materials, soft design, and the joy of jewellery as celebration.

Over time, my work deepened into sculptural form, quiet intention, and a more intimate relationship with materials, clients and story.

I am a sculptor of form, light, and presence.

My jewellery practice began with Lily Flo — exploring fine materials, simple lines, and personal celebrations of love and connection.

Over time, my work deepened into a more intimate dialogue with material, space, and human connection. I began to move beyond simple adornment, toward creating objects that hold meaning as acts of becoming — quiet pieces that exist as extensions of the wearer’s inner world.

Lucen was born from this evolution.

Each piece begins as an exploration of sculptural form — sometimes in wax, sometimes in clay, always in dialogue with the quiet intelligence of material. I am deeply inspired by biomorphic curves, voids, architectural fluidity, and the intimate scale of jewellery worn against the skin.

My work is rooted in presence — offering jewellery not as decoration, but as a language of tenderness, intimacy, and quiet power.

Every Lucen piece is created with care, precision and intention, crafted to accompany its wearer through their own private rituals of becoming.

Today, that journey continues as Lucen — a fine jewellery studio dedicated to presence, light, and the quiet power of becoming.

While many of the designs you may know from Lily Flo remain available, Lucen reflects a new phase of my practice: sculptural, intimate, and deeply personal.

I welcome you into this next chapter.

About Diana

I’m Diana Sherling, the founder and designer behind Lucen (and formerly) Lily Flo Jewellery — a London-based fine jewellery studio where every piece begins with a feeling and ends as something enduring.

My journey into jewellery wasn’t traditional. I began in the world of ancient art and archaeology, fascinated by the objects we choose to keep close — those small, powerful things that survive time. That fascination led me to study at The City Lit, Central Saint Martins and then at the Royal College of Art, where I trained in fine art and jewellery design. It was there that I began to shape a vision for jewellery that is modern, sculptural, and deeply personal.

I founded Lily Flo as a way to create jewellery that speaks to women like me — women who’ve grown into their confidence, who buy for themselves, and who want something beautifully made that tells their story.

Lucen

My newest work focuses on moments that change you. The pivot points. The proud steps. The quiet triumphs no one else sees, but you’ll remember forever.

Whether you're celebrating a relationship, a personal achievement, a creative leap our sculptural rings are designed to hold those memories in gold.

Crafted in solid 18k gold and set with natural diamonds, each piece is made to be worn every day — not just once — and to mark not only love, but life lived fully.

These are rings for any occasion.

A promotion. A move. A new chapter. A deepening of self-worth.

No rules, no expectations — just jewellery that means something to you.
