The Midas Princess Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring is inspired by the beautiful frescos and mosaic patterns of the ancient world, in particular the Palace of Knossos, centre of the Minoan civilisation.

The high relief of the carved elements encase a fantastic 1ct beautiful diamond that flows along the top half of the shank. The ring itself is inspired by the mosaics and frescoes of the palace, handcrafted in wax by Diana and then cast in 18k gold before each diamond is hand set into the mount.

This would make a stunning alternative wedding ring, or a beautiful addition to any ring stack. Pair with one of the eternity rings from the collection for a full look

This Midas collection references the myth King Midas who turned everything to gold. Separate from his morality tale, Diana encapsulate the aspiration of every loved one to turn their future to gold together with the person they love.

As an student of the Ancient World, Diana's BA and MA enveloped her in the myth, archaeology and stories of the ancient world and firmly grounded her belief that we are still the same, looking for love and ways to harness these feelings forever. A celebration of the long-lasting love of two people, using ancient gold but with modern sensibilities, this contrast of ancient and modern is exactly who Diana is as a designer.
