There are moments in life that seem small while they are happening.

A delayed train. A conversation held a little longer. An unexpected opportunity. A decision made instinctively rather than logically. The relationship you almost returned to. The path you nearly stayed on.

And then, years later, you realise your entire life quietly changed direction because of that single moment.

Almost Went The Other Way was designed as a reflection on those unseen turning points — the delicate, almost invisible shifts that alter who we become.

Two flowing gold lines move beside one another like parallel lives: the version of you that existed before, and the version that emerged because things unfolded differently than expected. The sculptural form bends softly rather than sharply, echoing the reality that transformation rarely arrives dramatically. More often, it happens slowly, privately and without announcement.

At either end sits a diamond.

Not simply as decoration, but as markers in time.

One representing who you were. The other, who you became. Between them lives the emotional distance travelled — the growth, grief, courage and quiet resilience that cannot always be seen from the outside.

Made entirely by hand in solid 9k gold using traditional goldsmithing techniques, each necklace is individually formed, soldered, finished and set by hand in my London studio. The flowing curves retain a sense of warmth and human touch, allowing the piece to feel intimate rather than manufactured.

Gold becomes a metaphor for transformation itself: shaped through pressure and heat, yet emerging softer, stronger and more luminous through the process.

Almost Went The Other Way is a piece about instinct, fate and the fragile moments that unknowingly reshape our lives forever.

We are an ethical jeweller; all our gold is recycled and we use lab grown and recycled vintage diamonds, all from the highest quality sources here in London to reduce any carbon footprint or issues with slavery or transparency through the supply chain.

We are an artisanal jeweller, using traditional goldsmithing and gemstone setting skills - everything is made with genuine love and passion in-house.
